Saint Sergius is remembered for his strong faith and courage. He was an officer in the Roman army who chose to follow God rather than worship false gods, showing us that true holiness can be found in quiet lives.

We celebrate his feast day on October 7. The Church’s calendar reminds us that God works through many faithful lives.

Prayer: Saint Sergius, pray for us!
