Saint Ignatius of Antioch was a bishop and martyr who wrote powerful letters on his way to Rome. He loved the Eucharist and called the Church to unity around Christ and the bishop.

The Church celebrates Saint Ignatius of Antioch on October 17. This holy example reminds children to love the Eucharist and stay united in the Church.

Prayer: Saint Ignatius of Antioch, pray for us.
