Saint Godwin was a Benedictine abbot of the monastery of Stravelot Malmedy in Belgium. He is remembered for his scholarship and dedication to God.

We celebrate his feast day on October 28. Saint Godwin teaches us that holiness begins with loving God, listening to His grace, and choosing what is good.
