Saint Athanasius is remembered by the Church on January 31. He was born in Catania, Sicily, and became a Basilian monk. His holy life encourages us to grow closer to Jesus through prayer and love.

On his feast day, we learn the importance of preserving our faith and sharing it with others, just as many saints have inspired us through the years.

Prayer: Saint Athanasius, pray for us!
